| Rebecca commented on 03.06.03 | | We have the same problem here in Santa Cruz (with those who wish they were Gypsies), but we have enacted various intrusive laws to deal with it. No sleeping in public. No panhandling with a cardboard sign after dark. Etc. And still they come. |

| Kevin37uk commented on 03.03.03 | | I think this skip (sorry dumpster) is used to block access to a large area of derelict ground behind it. One problem here in the UK is that there are Gypsies that will go onto open spaces and live there in a caravan. They then proceed to turn the place in to a close approximation of a municipal waste tip. The upshot of the whole skip thing is people think it will somehow be emptied by the skip elves or something like that. |
