but what do you think of their pad http://www.condoinhawaii.com/molly/gallery.htm
Smart Set commented on 06.27.05
I'm afraid they haven't been practising their typing. They shall have no pie.
Nancy Dumpling commented on 06.27.05
Molly and Jim can't spell.
Nancy Dumpling commented on 06.27.05
Yes, probably....or copying a cat?
Smart Set commented on 06.27.05
But shouldn't the felony be
"impussonating a cat"?
Nancy Dumpling commented on 06.27.05
I see where this is going...
Ginger Dave commented on 06.27.05
Thats paws for thought.Perhaps it's the purr-fect crime?
Molly & Jim commented on 06.27.05
Mr Smart Set says tht in that case, yes it was him, but with the help of the intenert, not the A-Z. We told him that impersonating a cat is a very seroius feliny.

Dan, as far as I know, mattress shops don't take old matts. The matts outside houses are usually collected by the local council on request (there's no "heavy rubbish" day); ones in front gardens are maybe there temporarily, or awaiting collection (sometimes by charities if Sleepable); ones in the countryside are obviously dumped by feckless persons. The high number of matts here I can only put down to the fact that London is so densely populated.

No problem at all SS...very impressive grasp of South Bristol geography. And cat personalities.

34 matts on demand, just what are they putting in your water over there? Seriously what is different there than the rest of the world (so far)? Does Parliament provide free matts to the masses? Are you having a bedwetting epidemic? Do British mattress stores not take away your old matts? Is there some confusion with flipping verses tossing your mattress?

pb, where you there, without revealing yourself?
Smart Set commented on 06.27.05
How did I know which hotel he was staying in? Lucky guess, pb. No, but seriously, these international matt hunts don't just happen by themselves; weeks of meticulous planning went into this one. It was organised for us by Intermat-UK of Ipswich.

so,SS how did you know which hotel W was staying in, I did not see that posted, does that mean you have a private communication channel - you are not Masons are you???
Smart Set commented on 06.26.05
What if it was me?
Smart Set commented on 06.26.05
It occurred to me later that we should have got them to point, but they'd probably have needed money first! I already had an interesting pic anyway, featuring a horizontal Wim.
Nancy Dumpling commented on 06.26.05
By the way, was that you with all the cat talk - with Bristol A-Z out??!!
Nancy Dumpling commented on 06.26.05
That's so cool!! Did the money guys get to point??
Smart Set commented on 06.26.05
No, at Wim's hotel in Sluff. It was great fun. Wim was incredulous at the number of matts and bases in such a small area. Even I was surprised. Yes, it was good hunting with someone who understood implicitly the excitement. You're lucky to be able to go out with your mum. We spoke to a couple of young guys who couldn't understand why we did it if there was no money involved.
Nancy Dumpling commented on 06.26.05
So, did you meet at the Mars factory!?? Well done you pair - what fun, hunting with a fellow SM hunter!
Smart Set commented on 06.26.05
Well, the first Anglo-Belgian matt hunting operation took place this afternoon and was a great success. Wim and I trawled Acton, Willesden and Harlesden for just under 3 hours and saw 34 matts and bases, which, even by Willesden standards, is phenomenal.
