There is no Fat Cats gym here - he doesn't even have a garden shed or an exercise bike. We are not overweight, but that's because he hardly ever seems to remember to feed us. If it weren't for the nice old lady nextdoor we'd probably starve. Anyway, don't send him any money, you'll never see anything for it. The only thing that is real is the "Touchtyping4Cats" classes that he teaches, which are quite god.

Many Actonians, such as me (and probably psychobabble), concerned at the growing number of fat cats in the neighbourhood, have started up cat gyms. Why, I'm often heard referring to "my cat Jim". (It's no coincidence that 'Acton' is an anagram of 'no cat', the word 'fat' having been lost over the years.) And losing the fat is just what my feline clients want to do. At my gym, "Fit Cats" (TM), the cats can do all kinds of catisthenic toning exercises: stretching, back-arching, calf-rubbing, running, jumping up, tail-chasing, furniture-scratching, lap-kneading, yawning, yes, even puss-ups, to become the slimline felines they always wanted to be.
