lousy choice of sofa...but the diagonally striped white matt looked quite tasty!

as we all know by now, you did
Smart Set commented on 06.06.05
wim, when you come to Acton I feel I will somehow know how to find you.
Smart Set commented on 06.06.05
Thanks, pb. Wim, I know that Belgium is probably not a hotbed of anarchism, which is why I said it was more chic than anarchic. So, "a typically anarchic Belgian" = "not anarchic".

Wim, visit Acton that weekend, stroll through Acton Park, go to the Rocket for a meal, have a wander around the shops and gallery (Trackside) in Churchfield Road, shoot some matts and you may even spot SS (not that I have ever seen/met him!!!)
wim commented on 06.05.05
in London, june 23 till 26
psychobabble commented on 06.05.05
Wim, SS has given so many clues to his identity I am sure that anyone in Acton could not only identify his whole family but also work out where he lives, what Merc he drives and what he eats for breakfast...! When are you here?
wim commented on 06.05.05
perhaps not chic, by the way I don't get it, it is not anarchic, but we are born anarchists, I admit SS is very briljant, but he gives me no clues how to find him this month over in England
psychobabble commented on 06.05.05
SS brilliant deconstruction of the word 'anarchic' but I've never considered Belgium to be 'chic' (apologies to Wim and ART)
Smart Set commented on 06.05.05
I'm sure you're a typically anarchic Belgian, wim - more "chic" than "anar"!
wim commented on 06.05.05
yep, I do, I am watching "target" and comment only during commercials, but by he way, I am pro anar too, but the belgian way, without brackets
Smart Set commented on 06.05.05
Whether that be the case or no, pb, at least you are now employing those brackets in a meaningful manner. Keep it up.
psychobabble commented on 06.04.05
I (for one) am all in favour of anarchy (and chaos)!
Smart Set commented on 06.04.05
I too am a great believer in brackets (you wouldn't believe how great [well, you might {but I - on balance - tend to doubt it} I suppose]), and parenthetical devices of all kinds, but they need to have some real function in the sentence, otherwise the world will rapidly descend into anarchy and chaos.
psychobabble commented on 06.04.05
thanks for your support (FOD)!
FOD(40)UK commented on 06.04.05
As a great believer in bra(ck)ets myself,I reckon pb should be al(low)ed to insert them wherever it pleases him!!
psychobabble commented on 06.04.05
No but most of Australia appears to be in Acton - working the bars esp the 'Redback' (as in previous streetmatts SS will no doubt post ref nos!)
Rebeca commented on 06.03.05
Vegemite brackets? Is Acton in Australia?
Smart Set commented on 06.03.05
I think so, yes. Enough with the verdammte brackets-with-no-discernible-purpose, pb!
psychobabble commented on 06.03.05
but is descernable purpose necessary or impor(tant)?
Smart Set commented on 06.02.05
Well, because the word "Acton" does not have brackets in it, and the brackets you have inserted have no discernible purpose.
psychobabble commented on 06.02.05
Oh yes..and why not!
Smart Set commented on 06.02.05
This has been there since at least March 17th (see matt #7481). Why the brackets in Acton?
