| I love this find. I was driving east, traversing the invisible border between Ealing and Acton, when I glimpsed something in a garden up a side road; the merest hint of something. I reversed a few yards and looked again - still couldn't be sure what it was; something leaning against the inside of a fence. Turned into the road and stopped. Got out and looked through a gap in the fence, and there it was. It wasn't the leaning thing I'd seen, but so much more. What a beauty. Makes it all worthwhile, somehow. |
