Confrontation - 04.03.05
submitter: Rebecca
location:Santa Cruz, CA
For this, I braved the wrath of the Authoritarian Hippy, who yelled, "Hey, you can't take pictures of those mattresses!" I calmly retorted, "Why not?" He didn't exactly have an answer. I guess he wan't quite ready to admit that in fact, it was just to be a pawn of his corporate masters and buy into the system that seeks to suppress mattress photography wherever it is found. He softened up though, when he realized how silly it all was.

I still don't get the "errant" sound thing. Why did you want a "hammermachine"? To annoy the neighbours?

wim commented on 04.20.05
the problem is probably floors and ceilings, but not in a direct way, people on pair levels hear eacht other, but not those on the unpair ones

I'm sure this collection of mattresses, if affixed to one's wall, could help with that little errant surround sound problem.

wim commented on 04.20.05
I can choose between wandering, rambling, roaming, roving, but errant as in Ivanho feels the most appropried (with a "t" not "d")

ART, you're not helping ;¬)

ART-chitect commented on 04.20.05
to keep quiet: errand sound is the new technolgy which leaves surround sound far behind

Smart Set commented on 04.20.05
Now, you didn't have just the one beer, did you, wim?

wim commented on 04.20.05
I'll try to find a correct translation tomorrow, I just liked the sound of errand in combination with sounds, a touch of Ivanho

today our neighbours were very willing to pose and point, once they realized the important non-importancy of our hunt they are voluntering when they can

wim, I have to ask on behalf of everyone else in the world who is not wim: "errand sounds"???!!!

who says seriousness is silly? Sillyness is serious. Take me, f.i. I am off to work now, in search for a hammermachine to produce errand sounds
