| This woman looks surprisingly cheerful as she heads home through the sleet after shopping at Waitrose. She is still using a special Christmas edition Waitrose carrier bag. The people reflected in the window are Waitrose employees who help guide shoppers to the store's new car park while the new store is being built in the old car park. They will also take your shopping from you as you exit the store, then you get your car, bring it around to the front and they load your purchases into your car to save you schlepping all the way to the new car park with it. I didn't trust them not to snaffle my cakes, so I did it the hard way. |
