he kid, what was that Louisiana story?
Rebecca commented on 03.09.05
I just did a quick experiment. I did a google search for Louisiana Miata and got 19,800 hits. I then did a search for California Miata and got 98,900. I'd guess that there's a few more here.

I'm sure they have streetmattresses by the truckload in Louisiana, although I wouldn't know about the cars there. Happy hunting!

1 named Stacey, don't knwo her but she has 5 out of 7 de milo's so she's worth mentioning. Louisiana looks like a State full of treasures still to reveal!
ART-chitect commented on 03.09.05
we probably will be in Louisiana this summer to examine if you speak the truth, cause it can get pretty warm there in summertime, so I guess they have the same car-disease. Do we have Louisiana-hunters?
Rebecca commented on 03.09.05
Yep, that's them. You can't walk 20 feet without stumbling over one around here. They come with hard tops too. :) Jeff may be buying one, and I wouldn't mind having one either.

we have a rainy land, here it's just called MX-5 (cabrio)
ART-chitect commented on 03.09.05
I bet we have but with another name, send me a link, I'll tell you
Rebecca commented on 03.09.05
You don't have Mazda Miatas over there? They're all over the place here.
ART-chitect commented on 03.09.05
only a few rings a bell:CRX, Civic, MG, Triumph, Mini...what's in a name, we have a French car on the road, Citroen C4. In Belgium C4 is the formular you get when you're fired.
Rebecca commented on 03.09.05
I know the trend here is toward larger vehicles but within the last week or so I’ve seen dozens of Miatas, Hondas like the CRX, Del Sol, Insight and Civic hatchbacks, a few MGs and Triumphs, and a Mini. We also have an assortment of econoboxes but I tend not to notice them and might not immediately know their names. There’s things on the road like the Subaru Justy, the new Mini (although it’s not so mini), Cevrolet Aveo, Ford Festiva and Aspire, Scion xA and tC, as well as lots of the so-called compact cars like the Toyota Echo and Suzuki Reno, which are smallish. Of course they are surrounded by SUVs and trucks, so it's harder to see that they are there.

indeed, ZAP = Smart
ZAP Set commented on 03.08.05
Like my new handle for the US, good buddy?
DVD Dan commented on 03.08.05
Actually it is a ZAP, which I think is/will be an Americanized Smart car.
ART-chitect commented on 03.08.05
in NY everything looks normal in compare to eighother untill you step in a yellow cab, I have no reminds of small cars there..by the way, could be that I will be 3 weeks in Louisiana somewhere this summer, anybody there who knows what to see there?
Rebecca commented on 03.08.05
Never heard of a Zip but then again I don't see ads much. ART, you've been here, didn't you see any small cars?
DVD Dan commented on 03.08.05
Rebecca probably knows better about the smallest auto here, but I've been seeing ads for a Zip or something similar.
DVD Dan commented on 03.08.05
It used to be parallel parking, the city restriped to create more parking so a neighboring community isn't impacted by nonresidents parking there.
Smart Set commented on 03.08.05
Why are they new? How were you parking before?
ART-chitect commented on 03.07.05
tell me, what is the smallest car they sell in the US? it always has to be big, no?
