To make pics of mats is like a flue ,the MATSFLUE , I've got the flue from Wim and his son , but there are worse things in live.

OK, hands up who's obsessed. Anyone? No? Obsessed. Anyone? No? Obsessed. Anyone...?

Jaak Graaf van Stokkem commented on 02.08.05
To make pictures is for me a crazy hobby, for some of the hunters it looks like a obsession...but who knows.

Smart Set commented on 02.08.05
But I'm sure you like to photograaf mattresses best.

Jaa Graaf van Stokkem commented on 02.08.05
I'm the village photograph , I make pictures of baby's,young and older people, pets ,mariages, baptisme infact all kind of pictures of people outside or in my photostudio.

Smart Set commented on 02.08.05
Do you take pictures only of mattresses, Jaak?

Jaak Graaf van Stokkem commented on 02.07.05
Intersting conversation..my job i make pictures..foto"graaf"

wim commented on 02.07.05
it is up to him to reveal his doings,

Smart Set commented on 02.07.05
You Ruttens are clearly pillars of Stokkem society. So what does Jaak do?

wim commented on 02.07.05
on the same map you have on the corner of the senator ruttenstraat and the steenkuilstraat both our offices, me and our son's and you find "langs de graaf" where Jaak Graaf van Stokkeem has his shop on te corner with the Arnold Sauwenlaan. In his case the name is a double joke, due to his profession and he name of the street, having nothing to do with "graaf = count" but with what he is doing ending with ***graaf

wim commented on 02.07.05
My grandfather was a coalminer who went in to politics and became senator a few years before he died. As he was the first working man to become senator, shortly after his dead the name of the street where he lived was changed. He also was my godfather. I grew up in my grandparents house and bought their garden when I married and build our house next to my grandparents. Hence

wim commented on 02.07.05
yes I do, and no it is not a joke, just move the bar on the right side of the michelin map; It really is the street where I live and it is not accidental

Smart Set commented on 02.07.05
Sorry, I see it now - you have to zoom in. Is there a connection with your name and Ruttenstraat?

Smart Set commented on 02.07.05
By pictures, do you mean the aerial photographs? I couldn't see Senator Ruttenstraat. Is that a rutten joke?

wim commented on 02.07.05
Yes, acton, on gthe site you mentioned. The other way round is simple. Google "stokkem" and you see the senator ruttenstraat on the first link (in belgium)

Smart Set commented on 02.07.05
Pictures of what? Acton?

wim commented on 02.07.05
Found it, and with pictures.

wim commented on 02.07.05
i did not find it. Is it near Abbey Road?

wim commented on 02.07.05
Have a nice cup of tea. I went to park my car and yes, it is a bit fresh. Are you a fast walker? Five minutes should be something like half a mile?

Smart Set commented on 02.07.05
A good map site is http://www.streetmap.co.uk/ Select London Street and type Pebble Way. Click "search" and you will see a map of the centre of Acton. You can then navigate in any direction or zoom out to a wider map area. My house is a five-minute walk from Pebble Way.

Smart Set commented on 02.07.05
You don't want me to have my tea, do ya punk? Google "london boroughs" then go to the first result to see an "all London boroughs" map. Acton is in the eastern end of the Ealing borough.

wim commented on 02.07.05
I found 5 Acton's in great brittain. Which one is your's?

Smart Set commented on 02.07.05
No, not near Millwall. It's west London, near QPR.

Smart Set commented on 02.07.05
wim, I gotta go get some tea. I'll be back later.

wim commented on 02.07.05
Is that a London suburb? Near Millwall?

Smart Set commented on 02.07.05
Ik ben nu thuis in Acton. Het is een koele nacht.

wim commented on 02.07.05

wim commented on 02.07.05

Smart Set commented on 02.06.05
wim, Mother & Child Reunion was by Paul Simon. It was named after a Caribbean recipe for a chicken and egg dish, apparently. You look like a fun guy in your New Year pic!

wim commented on 02.06.05
it was who's song? Mother and childs reunion? Or was it the name of a band?

ART-chitect commented on 02.06.05
Belgium is very Catholic, at least that's what they say
