Things might have gone differently if I hadn't been called to Los Banos early Friday morning for an emergency - I didn't have time to look for anything Thursday after work. Oddly, my ISP also went down late Saturday night, leaving me to check SM on my phone, where I read everyone's comments. Rest assured that I did go hunting while in Los Banos. |

I was starting to get scared that I had upset the galactic balance, because SM went dark Friday morning within a few hours of my passing Rebecca. Just a false alarm. It was about 6 months after discovering SM that I actually spotted my first mat. At that point I never imagined ever finding this many. After a few months I started to get a feel for the little fellows and thought to myself well maybe some day I could get to third place. Pablo and Rebecca were trouncing the crowd with something like 75 mats each. That seems so long ago now. Well the rest is history, I'm sure Rebecca won't let this stand long, and that's fine by me. There is comfort in Queen Rebecca's shadow. Now just have to keep dirty steve out of the mix. |

I just saw that you've managed to teach mrs Rebecca a lesson or two. You are number one it's marvelous. Sitting here in my comfortable chair i'm enjoying the joust the two of you are involved in. I can imagine it's a rough job, being number one. You could ask Rebecca for support on that aspect, she's been there more than anyone I know.
