I was hoping for a 12/12/12 related matt, but no links here.

I seem to have hit a few of the recent primes and double primes . Thanks for working them out SS & Wim .

Most recent double-prime matt is #26863, which was 56 matts ago, hence 25903 on the counter.

All is ipossible with an iPad!

SS it's ipossible to go back to te past, unless one takes the matts one by one

Well, given the number of matts that don't make it, the double-prime could occur quite soon. But let's look for an instance of it happening in the past, even though it's difficult to count the matts back to work out what the counter was showing.
wim commented on 12.20.12
closest would be 1 more missing on the number , lower than 26020 on the counter, giving 26983 as matt number and 26021 on the counter
wim commented on 12.20.12
for the time being it is impossible, SS, the mattress numer is pair for the time being, primes are not ( except number 2), next prime is 25969 but the the counter reads 26930 if there are no missing matts, the missing matts is an unknown element

wim, why don't you try to find a matt that not only makes (or made) a prime number on the matt counter but also has a prime as its mattress number?
wim commented on 12.15.12
it's simple, Horse

1=2/2
6-5=1 +1 =2
9-8=1
8-5=3 -1=2
9-8=1
2*1=2

6-5=1
