| robert k commented on 06.12.07 | | met bryan adams one evening some years back in the Yale Hotel in Vancouver. the place was packed to watch some texas blues band (the name of which escapes me). anyway bryan adams was disinterested in the company his then girlfriend was having him hang out with and we started up a conversation. My friend and I were about to embark on an extended hiking trip up the west coast of Canada so we talked about hiking and camping. He was excited about the new tent he had just bought. Of course this was all before he moved to london, did the title song for Kevin Costner's Robing Hood (it was all downhill musically from then on) and photographed the queen. i like Adams better when he was less iconic and more Canadian. |
