two of the three matts would have been buried under snow for weeks until the chinook blew through and the snow melted.

Gwich'in is the land claim region just to the south of Inuvialuit. Inuvik is the main hub for both cultural groups. The project I'm involved with is funded by the Inuvialuit Regional Corporation. What's your book about? Mine just went to the publisher.

is this a project from the Gwich’in Tribal Council? Btw I am writing a book and could use some professional help

I'm teaching a workshop on digital storytelling with 12 Inuvialuit youth as part of a pilot alternative education program. Was last up in the arctic in 2004 and Inuvik in 2001, before me SM life. I should look back at my photos from those trips and see if I didn't inadvertently take a mattress shot. While up north I would routinely go to the dump to see what people were throwing out and to see if any bears or wolves were hanging out there.

what are you going to do over there? I submitted a few matts from iceland, but that is below the arctic circle. Try locations and find out
