TBNW is a new cultural/art space that opened up this summer a half a block from our place. I was able to get into the abandoned lot to take the picture. The matts came and went pretty quickly. The bags of garbage are still there.

wim, just look for "Sideshow Bob" in Google Images and you'll see what I meant.
wim commented on 10.31.06
just tell me what you see, I am blinded
robert k commented on 10.31.06
ahh now i see what was once invisible.
wim commented on 10.30.06
Nope, I was referring to "the invisible man", as I see no Bob, nor Palmer
robert k commented on 10.30.06
wim, are you implying HG Wells wrote the Brave New World? it was aldous huxley.
robert k commented on 10.27.06
no it's some guy named Palmer
wim commented on 10.27.06
no, it is HG WELLS, tbnw
Smart Set commented on 10.27.06
Isn't that Sideshow Bob behind the TBNW?
wim commented on 10.27.06
I don't have a lot either, not of anything

i think it is owned by either Cal-trans or Union Pacific. A metal fabrication plant occupied the lot. then the old plant was inhabited by anarchist punk artists. now it is contaminated with heavy metals and memories of heavy metal. no one wants to touch it just yet. but i'm sure it will get developed someday.

If I had a lot, I don't think I would just abandon it. There's got to be a better way.
