| #13207 splendor in the grass is transient. first, from its first green spot, it moved across the street. then from the BART I spied something in a lot a few blocks away. lo and behold it was SITG in a new location. |

| robert k commented on 05.12.06 | | i think SITG is in a relatively stable situation for the moment. i should continue to document the changing surrounding environment - grass, weeds, other garbage, whether the stars-and-stripes is fluttering, or is limp, etc. |

| color01569 commented on 05.11.06 | | Relatively late in his career, in 1968, Harold Edgerton delveloped techniques for undersea time-lapse photography. I have seen some of the film he shot, showing apparently stationary starfish skittering around at high speed on the sea floor. Perhaps this scientist's techniques can be applied here, to study the subtle movements of SITG.
