| as a child I lived quite a while in austria, in a hotel in grundlsee (hotel zur post), they had a daughter of my age, Evi. I had forgotten her name, on the way back from croatia we passed the place and I went for a look. All she had left me was a matress, the hotel did not exist any more. Back home I found a postcard from my mother in an old book, a postcard from grundlsee; and one of my last conversations with her, a week before she died, we talked about evi' s family |
